Hi, and thanks for stopping by.  About me?  Hmmm.  Wife, Mom, Smart Ass.  Huge heart, sometimes to a fault- I’m a crier, love to laugh, super sarcastic.  I was born and raised in N.J, but don’t hold it against me, please, it really is a plus.  It taught me to have a good work ethic, drive like a maniac, and how to swear like a sailor. 

I love to read, write, and goof around with family and friends. In no particular order.  The messier the better.  But I love to have order, a routine, a clean house (hardly happens), and LOVE oxymoron’s.  I moved from Jersey to go to Arizona State.  And then took a leap of faith with my college room mate (after graduating) to move to San Diego with no job.  Met the man of my dreams after two months, he proposed 10 months later, and we were married 12 months after that. 

Tom knocked me up 10 months after our nuptials, and 8 months later we were blessed with our son Holden.  And at 10 months old, he was along for the ride when we moved the family to Florida. We bunked up with my parents while we built a house and Tom started a job in Real Estate and Land Development.  Again, why get settled?  Tom gets transferred to Celebration, FL (Orlando area) for a year, & then again, we move to Palm Beach Gardens, FL when Tom gets yet another transfer.  Get knocked up again.

Have a girl!  Yeah! Baylee Grace. It’s been a year we have lived in that house.  BORING!  Oh good, another job transfer.  I always wanted to move when we had a three year old, a three month old, and I am built like an elephant.  This should be fun.  At least it is Naples, FL.  (All kidding aside for a second, it’s a gorgeous place to live.  Second is over.) We get to stay for 15 months.  BONUS! Next St. Augustine, FL.  And we get to stay 7, yes, SEVEN, whole months!  Next, Jersey Beach Bum, Salt Water Loving, Alcohol Drinking, Sailor Swearing, Broadway Show Loving Girl gets her ticket to, drum roll please!!!……. Burnsville, North Carolina.  I know, don’t fall off your chair.  I felt like I hit the lottery too!  It’s a dry county, it has over thirteen Baptist Churches within a two mile radius, AND Ronald McDonald himself shows up on Saturday mornings at MickeyD’s!  I just LOVE scary clowns!

We stay for the summer, and then move to Asheville, NC so Holden can go to Kindergarten.  Duration, 6 months.  Jersey Girl (who has spent the last 15 years in AZ, S.CA, & FL) mixed with the Mountains of NC=Crazy Person.  Moved back to Naples, FL.  Tom can’t get a job there, so he moves to Truckee, CA (Lake Tahoe area) and commutes.  YES, COMMUTES.  We see him once every 17 days for forty eight hours.  Summertime comes and the kids and I move to Truckee.  AZ/ Southern CA/ Floridian/ Jersey Girl in Truckee Mountains. w/1500 fires, no air conditioning, & no friends=CRAAAZZZZYYY PERSON!

Go to Long Beach Island, NJ for the rest of our summer instead of insane asylum.  ALL OF US move back to Naples FOR GOOD!  YEAH!  That is how the birth of CARDinal CARDz came ABOUT.  I was not having Tom working for someone else anymore.  I was not having our children transfer to one more school; have to adjust to one more teacher, class room, or new group of friends.  I was not having them scream in the night, crying because their daddy didn’t live with them anymore.  I wasn’t moving one more MF time or being 3,000 miles away from my best friend.

This company, this blog, and these words are for all you women out there, single, married, divorced, with or with our children, Moms & Dads, for anyone who was told, “NO”, “You Can’t”, “You have to”, or “It’s time to go”, or “You have to stay.”  I say, NO you don’t, and YES you can.  This company, blog, words, and sentiments are for anyone out there who needs a break, a laugh, a cry, or just wants to relate, or relax. 

I want to be an outlet, for anyone who wants to chime in and say “me too.”  Or “I need some support.”  There are some rules I would respectfully ask of all who want to play.

Rule #1: Play Nice- We are all on the same team, so no nasty, nasty doesn’t live here.

Rule #2: No critics please- Everyone has their own opinion, so go ahead and give it, but you don’t need negate someone else’s opinion.  I LOVE a great discussion, but remember!!!!  See rule #1.

Rule #3:  Have Fun- I LOVE to laugh!  Who doesn’t?  I mean, I REALLY love to laugh.  I think I am addicted to laughing.  I can’t get enough of it.  So put on your happy, and let’s get it on!
